Fatal crash involving motorcycle and pickup truck
Plattsburgh Police Department is currently looking into a tragic accident in Peru involving a motorcycle and a pickup truck. The incident occurred on Friday night at around 8:20 p.m. on Telegraph Road in Peru, when a 2006 Honda motorcycle collided with the side of a 2018 Chevrolet Silverado. The motorcyclist, identified as 21-year-old Ronnie Gamble III, was transported to CVPH after the accident but unfortunately did not survive despite efforts to save his life. According to officials, Gamble was heading west on Telegraph Road at an unknown speed when he crashed into the side of the truck, which was moving north through an intersection. The truck driver was unharmed and was later released after cooperating with the authorities. The authorities continue to investigate the crash and urge anyone with relevant information to reach out to them at 518-563-3411.
