Fatal Crash Involving Fiery Dump Truck in Tampa
A Tampa man tragically lost his life following a fiery crash in Sumter County. The incident occurred at the intersection of CR-48 and SR-471 early Thursday morning and involved a sand-filled dump truck and a Rooms-To-Go furniture truck. The dump truck driver made a wide turn onto SR-471, resulting in a collision with the Rooms-To-Go truck. The latter driver was able to escape with minor injuries, while the former, aged 62, was unable to exit the vehicle and passed away at the scene. Further details are currently limited.
