Fatal crash injures two in south Omaha Thursday morning
A fatal crash occurred in south Omaha early Thursday morning, resulting in the death of one person and serious injuries to two others. The incident took place at around 2:30 a.m. near the intersection of 13th and M streets. According to the Omaha Police Department, the driver collided with a median barrier which caused the vehicle to catch fire. Details regarding the cause of the crash are currently being investigated. As a result, the section of 13th Street between M and O streets has been closed off. Authorities are advising people to steer clear of the area.
