Fatal crash in west Valley injures multiple people.
A tragic incident occurred on Friday afternoon when a collision involving four vehicles resulted in one fatality and injuries to several others. According to the Department of Public Safety, the crash occurred on the northbound lanes of State Route 303 at Grand Avenue around 4:15 p.m. Reports indicate that a Ford F350 pickup truck rear-ended a Chrysler Pacifica van that had come to a stop at the Grand Avenue exit. Sadly, a passenger in the van lost their life at the scene. The F350 then went on to collide with two more vehicles. Two individuals were transported to a hospital for treatment, while two others sustained minor injuries. The northbound lanes of SR-303 were closed for a few hours following the incident as authorities conducted their investigation.
