Fatal crash in Washington County involving a motorcycle and a vehicle, resulting in the death of a Richfield resident
A tragic incident occurred in Washington County on September 27, resulting in the loss of life in a collision between a vehicle and a motorcycle. The Washington County Sheriff's Office received reports of the crash at 8:38 p.m. on State Highway 175 at Hillside Road in the Town of Polk. Despite efforts by bystanders and emergency responders, the rider of the motorcycle, a 54-year-old man from the Village of Richfield, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the other vehicle involved was evaluated at the scene but did not need further medical attention. This incident marked the sixth fatal vehicle crash in Washington County in 2025. The investigation into the accident is still ongoing.
