Fatal crash in Warwick results in driver's death
Early Monday morning, a fatal crash occurred in Warwick at the intersection of Airport and Post roads, where a vehicle collided with a pole and caught fire. Despite efforts to extinguish the flames, the driver was found deceased in the front seat. Witnesses stated that the driver was speeding down Airport Road and drove directly into the pole at the intersection with Post Road. Due to the damage caused by the fire, the traffic lights at the intersection will be malfunctioning for most of the day. Authorities advise drivers to avoid the area.
