Fatal crash in Van Nuys injures 3 men
A tragic incident occurred in the Van Nuys neighborhood of Los Angeles overnight when a suspected drunk driver caused a two-vehicle crash. The collision happened when a Honda sedan ran a red light and crashed into a Mercedes-Benz at the Burbank and Van Nuys boulevards intersection around 1:40 a.m. Sadly, the driver of the Mercedes, a 40-year-old woman, lost her life. Three men in the Honda were injured, with one in critical condition, one in serious condition, and one with minor injuries. Another vehicle later drove through the police tape and the driver was arrested for suspicion of DUI. The names of those involved have not been made public, and an investigation is ongoing into the cause of the crash.
