Fatal crash in south Austin involving pedestrian
The Austin Police Department is currently looking into a tragic accident that took place on Wednesday evening in southern Austin. The incident, which happened around 9:45 p.m. in the 11100 block of Menchaca Road near Boyds Way and Kaiser Drive, involved a pedestrian. Regrettably, one person lost their life in the accident, and the driver stayed on site following the incident. To facilitate the investigation, a section of the road was temporarily shut down.
