Fatal crash in Santa Ana caused by wrong-way driver
A tragic incident occurred in Santa Ana on Monday evening when a high-speed driver going the wrong way caused a multi-car crash, resulting in the death of two individuals and injuring five others. The collision occurred on S. Main Street around 6:40 p.m. According to Santa Ana Police Department, a BMW driver was traveling at a high speed on the wrong side of the road, leading to a head-on collision with another vehicle. The impact caused one car to spin out and hit two additional vehicles. Both drivers involved in the initial crash, a man and a woman, died at the scene. Authorities are investigating the possibility of drunk or impaired driving, rather than street racing.
