Fatal crash in Montgomery injures three, claims life of female driver
In recent news from Montgomery on November 4, 2025, a tragic car accident claimed the life of a woman from Mobile. Authorities have confirmed that Chelice S. Burns, aged 64, was the victim of the crash, which occurred on Interstate 65 northbound near mile marker 163 on the afternoon of Saturday, November 1. The accident caused Burns' vehicle to collide with the median after being struck from behind by another vehicle. Unfortunately, the second vehicle caught fire and ended up on the road shoulder. As a result, the northbound lanes had to be closed for several hours following the incident.
