Fatal crash in Menomonee Falls; Tribute to Hamilton High School student
Family and friends gathered on Friday to honor a Hamilton High School student who tragically passed away in a car accident in Menomonee Falls. The student, identified by classmates as Owen Briggs, was a junior at Hamilton. According to authorities, the accident took place when the vehicle, traveling northbound on Lannon Road, veered off the road and hit a tree. Upon arrival, emergency responders found the vehicle on fire. Briggs was pronounced dead at the scene. The Hamilton School District has been providing counseling support to students and staff.
