Fatal crash in Maurice claims two lives
Two individuals tragically lost their lives in a collision that occurred overnight in Maurice, Vermilion Parish. The incident, which involved two vehicles on West Etienne, was reported to the police at 11:40 pm on Tuesday. The victims have been identified as Renee Richard, aged 43, and Brennen Duhon, aged 26, as confirmed by a representative from the Maurice Police Department. A female occupant from the other vehicle was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of injuries that were not life-threatening. The authorities are currently investigating the crash.
