Fatal Crash in Lowell Township; 1 Dead, 2 Injured
An 84-year-old woman named Judith Scott-Steinberg from Reeseville tragically passed away following a collision in the Township of Lowell in Dodge County on August 29. The incident took place at the intersection of State Highway 16/60 and O'Sixteen Road. According to the Dodge County Sheriff's Office, the crash involved two vehicles: a car driven by Scott-Steinberg that failed to yield right-of-way and was struck by an SUV towing a boat on a trailer, operated by a 73-year-old man from Hartford with his 74-year-old wife as a passenger. After being initially transported to Marshfield Medical Center in Beaver Dam, Scott-Steinberg was later moved to UW Hospital where she succumbed to her injuries on September 5. The driver of the SUV suffered minor injuries and was taken to Marshfield Medical Center, while his wife sustained serious injuries and was also transported there. Emergency responders from Clyman/Lowell/Reeseville Fire Departments, Watertown EMS, and Beaver Dam EMS assisted at the scene.
