A fatal collision involving a suspected DUI driver occurred in Los Angeles on Monday night, resulting in the tragic death of a motorist. The incident, which took place at the intersection of West 76th Street and Broadway before 10:30 p.m., involved a Chevrolet and a Toyota Camry. The victim, a 68-year-old man driving the Camry, was hit by the Chevrolet as he was traveling eastbound on West 76th Street. According to a spokesperson from the Los Angeles Police Department, the victim was passing through the intersection on a green light when the crash occurred. Despite being transported to a local hospital, the victim succumbed to his injuries.
