A fatal collision involving a suspected DUI driver occurred in Los Angeles on Monday night, resulting in the tragic death of a motorist. The incident, which took place at the intersection of West 76th Street and Broadway before 10:30 p.m., involved a Chevrolet and a Toyota Camry. The victim, a 68-year-old man driving the Camry, was hit by the Chevrolet as he was traveling eastbound on West 76th Street. According to a spokesperson from the Los Angeles Police Department, the victim was passing through the intersection on a green light when the crash occurred. Despite being transported to a local hospital, the victim succumbed to his injuries. The driver of the Chevrolet remained at the scene and was subsequently arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. Further details about the DUI suspect have not yet been disclosed.
