Fatal crash in Lincoln County leaves 1 dead, 1 injured
A tragic incident occurred in Lincoln County, Missouri, resulting in the loss of a 41-year-old woman from Troy and causing injuries to another individual following a collision on Tuesday morning. The Missouri State Highway Patrol released a report detailing the crash, which took place on Missouri State Highway W near Moody Lane at approximately 8:40 a.m. The accident involved a Chevrolet Cobalt and a Chevrolet Colorado, with the Cobalt heading northbound and the Colorado traveling southbound on the highway. The driver of the Cobalt veered off the road, then overcorrected before skidding into the northbound lane and colliding with the Colorado's passenger side. Sadly, the Cobalt's driver, who was not wearing a seatbelt, did not survive the crash. The driver of the Colorado, who was wearing a seatbelt, sustained minor injuries from the collision.
