Fatal crash in DeKalb County as man hits tree
A fatal accident occurred in DeKalb County early Saturday morning when a man driving a truck crashed into a tree along CR 60. The incident drew the attention of the DeKalb County Sheriff's Office around 2 a.m. Authorities found that the truck was traveling west on CR 60 when it went off the road after crossing a bridge in the 2200 block. The driver, unfortunately, did not survive the crash. Speed is believed to have played a role, and the incident is currently being investigated.
