Fatal crash in Bustleton claims driver and pedestrian
A tragic incident occurred on Thursday afternoon on Roosevelt Boulevard in Philadelphia, resulting in two fatalities and one person sustaining serious injuries. The crash involved pedestrians struck by a vehicle in the southbound lane of the 9000 block. The driver of the vehicle, an adult male, was tragically pronounced dead at the scene, while both pedestrians were rushed to a nearby hospital. Tragically, one of the male pedestrians succumbed to his injuries shortly after reaching the hospital, while the other male pedestrian remains in critical condition. Emergency crews were spotted working on gaining access to the vehicle, which was partially wedged under a tree at the crash site. The Philadelphia police are actively investigating the incident with their accident investigation division.
