Fatal crash claims life of young woman in Lincoln County
A tragic accident occurred in Lincoln County on Friday, September 19, 2025, claiming the life of a young woman. The accident took place around 11:20 p.m. on GlenLake Road, a few miles southeast of the town of Eureka. The Montana Highway Patrol reported that the 18-year-old driver from Eureka was driving a GMC Sierra when she failed to navigate a curve, causing the vehicle to veer off the road and collide with a tree. Unfortunately, the woman, whose identity has not been disclosed, passed away at the scene. She was the sole occupant of the vehicle, and it was noted by MHP that she was not wearing a seatbelt. Additionally, alcohol and/or drugs were contributing factors in the crash.
