Fatal crash claims life of 28-year-old man
In Marion, Ohio, a tragic accident took the life of a 28-year-old man on Saturday night. The Ohio State Highway Patrol reported that the collision took place at 10:23 p.m. in Marion Township. Jordan Tunnicliff was driving a northbound Chevrolet on U.S. 23 when he crossed into the southbound lanes, striking the rear axles of a Freightliner with a trailer from Oregon. Tragically, Tunnicliff was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Freightliner, who was unharmed, was from Oregon. Investigation suggests that Tunnicliff was not wearing a seatbelt and impairment may have been a contributing factor. The incident continues to be investigated by authorities.
