Fatal crash caused by failure to stop at stop sign near Kerman, CHP reports

A tragic incident occurred near Kerman, California, where a man passed away after disregarding a stop sign, as reported by the California Highway Patrol. The collision took place at the junction of Goldenrod and Belmont avenues at around 5 p.m. The California Highway Patrol's investigation revealed that an unidentified man was driving a Nissan Sentra northbound on Goldenrod Avenue and failed to stop at the posted sign at Belmont Avenue. Concurrently, a Toyota Tundra driven by a 54-year-old man was traveling westbound on Belmont Avenue, where no stop sign was present. The Tundra collided with the right side of the Nissan, leaving the Nissan's driver unresponsive. He was promptly taken to Community Regional Medical Center, where he unfortunately passed away. The driver of the Toyota suffered minor injuries in the accident.
