Fatal crash between moped and FedEx truck
Authorities in Daviess County, Indiana are currently looking into a tragic incident involving a FedEx truck, a Ford SUV, and a moped that resulted in a fatality. The three-vehicle crash occurred on Thursday, July 31, at the intersection of State Road 257 and U.S. 50. Initial reports suggest that a Ford SUV driven by Gina Graber collided with a FedEx truck driven by Daniel Altmeyer at the intersection. The impact caused the FedEx truck to strike a moped on the south side of the intersection, throwing off the rider, Jake Kuykendall. Sadly, Kuykendall, who was from Olney, Illinois, succumbed to his injuries after being taken to a hospital in Evansville. The family of Mr. Kuykendall has been informed of the tragic outcome, as confirmed by the Daviess County Sheriff's Office.
