Fatal collision involving Pittsburgh Regional Transit bus in Spring Hill leads to woman's death.
A tragic incident occurred on Monday involving a Pittsburgh Regional Transit bus that resulted in the death of a 50-year-old woman. The crash took place near the intersection of Rhine and Buente streets in Pittsburgh's Spring Hill neighborhood at approximately 12:15 p.m. Despite efforts from paramedics, the woman was unresponsive and was taken to Allegheny General Hospital, where she was later pronounced deceased. At this time, the woman's identity remains undisclosed, and further information regarding the crash is pending investigation by Port Authority police. The bus involved, a 6-Spring Hill, will be removed from the site for additional examination as authorities continue their inquiry.
