Fatal collision involving motorcycle on Colorado Avenue and 32nd Street: victim identified.
The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) has revealed the name of the individual who tragically lost his life in a motorcycle accident at the end of August. The victim has been identified as 28-year-old Dylan Hart, according to CSPD. The incident took place at the intersection of Colorado Avenue and 32nd Street around 12:20 a.m. CSPD officers reported that their investigation showed the motorcycle struck a curb before veering off the road, causing the rider to be thrown from the bike. Hart was pronounced dead at the accident site. The El Paso County Coroner's Office performed an autopsy and confirmed the man's identity on September 1. Authorities have mentioned that speed may have played a role in the crash. Fortunately, there were no other injuries. This incident marks the 39th traffic fatality in Colorado Springs this year, compared to 37 fatalities around the same time in 2024.
