Fatal Collision Involving Cyclist in Berkeley
A cyclist in his 60s passed away after being hit by a vehicle near the intersection of Telegraph Avenue and Haste Street in Berkeley on Saturday afternoon. According to the Berkeley Police Department, the cyclist was traveling south on Telegraph Avenue when a northbound vehicle collided with him. The cyclist was taken to a nearby hospital but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries. Following the serious incident, traffic has been halted for both vehicles and pedestrians in the vicinity of Telegraph Avenue between Haste Street and Dwight Way, as well as Haste Street between Bowditch Avenue and Dana Street.
