Fatal collision in Metairie involving stolen motorcycle and tractor trailer, according to JPSO
Authorities are currently looking into a fatal motorcycle accident that occurred in Metairie on Thursday morning. The incident took place on Veterans Memorial Boulevard around 5 a.m. The Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office reported that a motorcyclist collided with a tractor trailer, resulting in the biker's death at the scene. Deputies mentioned that the driver of the tractor trailer was entering the road near Kent Avenue when the collision occurred. The motorcyclist's identity has not been disclosed yet. It was noted that the motorcycle had been reported stolen from New Orleans.
