Fatal collision in Chicago's West Loop
A tragic incident occurred on Sunday morning when a young woman lost her life after the vehicle she was a passenger in collided with a median in the West Loop area. The incident took place around 5:30 a.m. in the 1100 block of West Congress Parkway, near the University of Illinois Chicago campus, as reported by the authorities. Following the crash, the 24-year-old woman was rushed to Stroger Hospital of Cook County where she was later pronounced deceased. Specifics about the accident were limited at that time and the case is currently under investigation by the police Major Accident Investigation Unit.
