Fatal Collision Claims Lives of Man and Child in Apache Junction
Tragedy struck early Saturday morning near the intersection of South Goldfield Road and East Old West Highway as a car veered off the road and collided with a utility pole, resulting in the loss of a man and a child. The man was pronounced dead at the scene, while the child, who was critically injured, later succumbed to their injuries at the hospital. Apache Junction police are currently investigating the incident to determine the cause of the crash.
