The incident took place on Tuesday morning at the intersection of M-43 Hwy. and Benton Rd. in Oneida Township. According to the MSP Lansing Post troopers, the crash involved a 2002 Chevy Silverado pickup, driven by an 18-year-old Grand Ledge man, and a 2011 Ford Focus driven by the victim. The preliminary investigation indicated that the pickup failed to stop at a sign on Benton Rd., colliding with the Focus traveling eastbound.
