Fatal Cedar Park crash leaves 2 dead, 1 injured
A tragic accident occurred in Cedar Park resulting in the death of two individuals and injuries to another, as reported by local authorities. Cedar Park police responded to the collision at the intersection of N. Bell Blvd and E. New Hope Dr on Sept. 1, at approximately 10:20 p.m. The incident involved a car traveling north on N. Bell Blvd and another car exiting a gas station parking lot. Jennifer Ballejo, 44, was declared deceased at the scene, while her passenger, 17-year-old Joriko Rubio, succumbed to his injuries after being transported to a nearby hospital. The driver of the northbound vehicle sustained serious injuries and was also taken to the hospital. The investigation into the cause of the crash is currently ongoing.
