Fatal Car Crash on I-5 in Sorrento Valley
A fatal traffic accident occurred on Interstate 5 in Sorrento Valley on Friday morning, resulting in the death of one individual. The incident happened around 10 a.m. when a Hyundai Sonata traveling northbound collided with a center-divider barrier near Genesee Avenue at a high rate of speed. The car then crossed lanes and crashed into a wall on the opposite side of the freeway, as reported by the California Highway Patrol.
