Fatal car crash involving senior woman in Stephenson County
A 76-year-old woman from Galena tragically died in a car accident on US Route 20 in Stephenson County. The incident occurred when the woman, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, lost control and crashed near a residential driveway. The authorities were alerted at 3:07 p.m., and despite being taken to a nearby hospital, the woman was pronounced dead. The victim's identity has not been disclosed as the family is being informed. The crash is currently being investigated by the police.
