Fatal car crash in Ulster County.
Tragically, a fatal car accident occurred in Wawarsing, New York on Tuesday, resulting in the death of one individual and injuries to another. According to authorities, the collision between a Hyundai and a Gulf Stream Conquest motorhome took place on State Route 209. State Police arrived at the scene around 7:45 a.m. The initial findings indicate that the Hyundai, driven by Elsa Booth, 36, failed to stay in its lane and crashed head-on into the motorhome before catching fire. Despite efforts to rescue Booth, she succumbed to her injuries at the scene. The motorhome driver, Diane Delehanty, 68, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to Garnet Health Medical Center. The crash investigation is currently ongoing.
