Fatal car crash claims lives of 5 individuals in Burnet County
A collision that occurred in Burnet County resulted in the deaths of five individuals, as confirmed by officials. The incident took place on US 281 near Park Road 4, involving a 2018 RAM 4500 truck, a Chevy Malibu, and a Mercedes SUV. The truck veered into the southbound lanes and collided head-on with the Malibu, causing it to then hit the Mercedes. Tragically, all five occupants of the Mercedes - Thalia Salinas, Ruby Cruz, Brianna Valadez, Desiree Cervantez, and Jacqueline Velazco - lost their lives. The individuals in the other vehicles sustained injuries that were not life-threatening. The authorities are currently actively investigating the crash.
