Fatal car accident in Somerset County causes one death
A man from Windber, Pennsylvania, tragically lost his life in a car crash in Paint Township. According to authorities, 25-year-old Adakin Adamczyk was driving his SUV at a high speed on Clear Shade Drive on the evening of Friday, October 3, when he lost control, crashed into an embankment, and rolled over. He was thrown from the vehicle, suffering life-threatening injuries. Despite being taken to Conemaugh Hospital, he passed away. A second vehicle was also involved in the incident, resulting in minor injuries for all occupants. The State Police are continuing their investigation into the crash.
