Fatal car accident in Oregon results in passenger's death.
A tragic accident on Hwy 238 resulted in the loss of a 36-year-old man from Grants Pass, as reported by Oregon State Police. The incident occurred in Josephine County after midnight near milepost 8, when the driver of a Subaru Impreza lost control, crashed into a power pole, and the car caught fire after rolling multiple times. The driver sustained minor injuries after escaping the vehicle, but sadly, the passenger, Jacob Mix, was pronounced deceased at the scene. According to investigators, the primary factors contributing to the crash were impairment and excessive speed.
