Fatal boat crash on South Holston Lake: 1 dead, 1 seriously injured
A tragic accident on South Holston Lake resulted in the death of a Virginia man, Ronald E. Taylor, during a boat crash on Saturday night. The incident occurred when a bass boat carrying two individuals collided with a bridge pillar on Highway 421. The operator sustained serious injuries, and Taylor was pronounced dead at the scene. The Tennessee Wildlife Resource Agency (TWRA) expressed appreciation to various local agencies for their assistance. The TWRA mentioned that the crash is currently being investigated and is the 20th boating-related fatality on Tennessee waters in 2021.
