Fatal ATV accident in Iron Range results in firefighter's death and driver's serious injuries, according to police
A tragic ATV accident in the Iron Range Off Highway Vehicle State Recreation Area in Gilbert, Minnesota has resulted in the death of local firefighter Tia Muller. Tia, 26, was found pinned underneath the ATV and succumbed to her injuries. Her fellow firefighter, 25-year-old Johnathan Muller, survived with serious injuries. The community is mourning her loss deeply, with the Cherry Fire Department expressing their condolences on Facebook. Jonathan was airlifted to a Duluth hospital for treatment. The accident is believed to have occurred on Friday evening, and the Mullers were discovered the following morning by other ATV riders. The firefighters are mourning the loss of their colleague and friend, with heavy hearts in the city of Gilbert, which is situated about 60 miles northwest of Duluth.
