Fatal accident with Woodward County ambulance
A tragic incident occurred on Thursday in Dewey County involving a Woodward County EMS ambulance and a tractor-trailer, resulting in a fatal crash. The person who tragically lost their life in the accident has not been identified yet. Two other individuals were injured, with one of them currently in critical condition according to sources. The crash took place on U.S. Highway 270, just south of County Road 770, near the small community of Oakwood in Dewey County. Our thoughts are with all those impacted by this distressing event. The Woodward County Emergency Medical Service is fully cooperating with the investigation led by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
