Fatal accident with semi-truck in Grand Prairie
A fatal accident occurred in Grand Prairie on Sunday morning involving an 18-wheeler. The incident took place around 3:20 a.m. on Sunday in the 2700 block of East IH-30. According to Grand Prairie police, a Chevy Tahoe rear-ended a semi-truck in slow-moving traffic near MacArthur, which then struck a Honda passenger car. Sadly, the Tahoe driver was declared dead at the scene, while the Honda driver sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Fortunately, the semi-truck driver was unharmed. Authorities stated that the Tahoe driver was speeding at the time of the collision and was not wearing a seatbelt. The identities of those involved have not been disclosed.
