Fatal accident on Bloomington highway involves woman and man
A tragic incident occurred on Saturday night in the southern Twin Cities metro when a woman lost her life and another person was injured in a head-on collision on Highway 169 at Anderson Lakes Parkway in Bloomington. The collision occurred when a 29-year-old woman was driving her Pontiac Grand AM in the wrong direction on the highway and collided with a Hyundai Sonata. The Hyundai was then pushed into a Ford F-150, according to the crash report. The driver of the Pontiac, Jasmine Nanclares from Shakopee, tragically passed away in the crash, while the 25-year-old driver of the Hyundai sustained non-life-threatening injuries. The occupants of the Ford, both 18 years old, were thankfully unhurt. The authorities are currently investigating the incident.
