Fatal accident: Man dies after vehicle hits tree, ejecting man and woman
A tragic incident occurred last week in Chicago's western suburbs when a young man lost his life and a young woman sustained critical injuries as their car collided with a tree. According to Aurora police, the accident took place on Wednesday at approximately 11:20 p.m. on Spruce Street. Emergency responders were alerted by several 911 calls reporting the crash. Upon arrival, the man and woman were found outside the vehicle, with the man sadly passing away at the scene and the woman being rushed to Good Samaritan Hospital in serious condition. Preliminary investigations indicate that their gray Honda Accord was speeding west on Spruce Street when it veered off the road and struck the tree. Aurora Police Chief Matt Thomas expressed condolences to the families involved and urged the community to drive safely and remain vigilant. Authorities are urging anyone with information about the incident to reach out to the Aurora Police Department's Traffic Division.
