Fatal accident leads to closure on Highway 84 near Teague
The Freestone County Sheriff’s Office is advising drivers to steer clear of a section of Highway 84 after a tragic accident occurred on Monday afternoon. The incident occurred just west of Teague, leading to the closure of Highway 84 between County Road 866 and Farm-to-Market Road 80. In an official announcement, the sheriff’s office stated that the road will remain closed due to a fatal accident and recommended that drivers find alternative routes.
