Fatal accident involving Camry and big rig near Lemoore.
A tragic incident occurred in rural Fresno County where a driver lost their life in a collision with a big rig, leading to the closure of a road. The California Highway Patrol reported that the crash took place on Excelsior Avenue, near 17th Avenue, with a Camry and a semi truck involved. The Camry, traveling south on Cedar Avenue, entered the intersection in the path of the oncoming semi truck. The collision resulted in the Camry overturning several times and the semi truck veering off the road, causing damage to a power pole. Sadly, the Camry driver died at the scene, while the semi truck driver sustained minor injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital. The incident is under investigation, and there is no evidence of drugs or alcohol as contributing factors. The identity of the Camry driver has not yet been disclosed.
