Fatal accident in downtown Willoughby involving person ejected from lift bucket
A box truck collided with a parked lift-bucket truck in downtown Willoughby, Ohio, resulting in the ejection of the individual in the lift bucket who sustained severe injuries and was later pronounced dead at a hospital, as reported by Willoughby Police Detective Lt. John Begovic to FOX 8 News. The incident occurred in the morning on Erie Street, prompting a swift response from Willoughby police and fire units. Eyewitnesses administered CPR until paramedics arrived, and the injured person was transported to a hospital. The collision is currently being investigated with Erie Street closed off to traffic.
