Fatal Accident in Belle Glade Involving Unmarked PBSO Vehicle
A tragic accident occurred Friday morning involving a Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office vehicle and a pedestrian, resulting in the pedestrian's death. The incident took place at approximately 6:25 a.m. on N. Main Street when a man lost his balance while walking across the road and fell into the path of the unmarked law enforcement vehicle. The victim, a 34-year-old male, was declared deceased at the scene. The Florida Highway Patrol indicated that there were no designated crosswalks or traffic signals at the location where the man was trying to cross. The authorities are currently investigating the incident.
