Fatal accident in Baldwin, WI claims lives of 2 men

Officials are currently looking into a crash that tragically resulted in the deaths of two men in Baldwin, Wisconsin, early Friday morning. The St. Croix County Sheriff's Office reported that deputies were alerted to the incident through a cell phone's "Automatic Crash Notification," leading them to the 2200 block of County Trunk Highway DD in Baldwin Township just after 4 a.m. Upon arrival, they discovered a collision involving a Chevy Cruze and a Chevy Equinox, both of which sustained significant damage. Sadly, both drivers, the sole occupants of their vehicles, were pronounced deceased at the scene. They have been identified as a 24-year-old man from Baldwin and an 18-year-old man from Emerald, Wisconsin. The investigation revealed that the Cruze was heading westbound on CTH DD when it collided with the eastbound Equinox. This incident marks the fourth and fifth traffic-related fatalities in the county for 2025. The names of the drivers have not been disclosed, pending notification of their families.
