Fatal Accident: Elderly Woman Hit by Car in Victoria, MN
Authorities are looking into a tragic incident that took place in Victoria, Minnesota, where an 85-year-old woman was fatally struck by a car. The accident occurred near Victoria Drive and County Road 18 a little before 9:30 a.m. According to witnesses, the woman was in the crosswalk when the collision happened. The driver involved, a 53-year-old man, reportedly had the green light when the accident occurred and is cooperating with the investigation. The victim was taken to Hennepin Healthcare but unfortunately succumbed to her injuries. The Carver County Sheriff's Office and the Minnesota State Patrol are currently looking into the matter.
