Fatal accident claims life of Houston, Texas driver in Christian County
A traffic collision occurred on Westwind Drive in Christian County, just north of Ozark, at 3:58 p.m. on Wednesday. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that the accident involved a Dodge Durango driven by a 44-year-old woman from Houston, Texas. The vehicle crossed the centerline, veered off the road, and hit a tree. Unfortunately, the woman succumbed to her injuries at a Springfield hospital. This incident marks the 50th fatality for Highway Patrol Troop D in 2025.
