Ex-OSU Football Player Faces Charges in Deadly Dublin Crash
A fatal crash occurred in Dublin over the weekend involving Kirk Barton, a former Ohio State football player. Barton, 40, has been charged with aggravated vehicular homicide following the incident. The crash happened early Saturday morning when Barton was driving a Ford F150 Raptor pickup truck at high speed. He collided with a Lexus in Historic Dublin, resulting in the death of the Lexus driver, 24-year-old Ethan Perry. Barton sustained minor injuries and was later released from the hospital to face charges. Court records indicate that Barton has a history of traffic-related offenses.
