Evening rush hour sees heavy traffic on I-295 after multiple-car accident in Freeport
During Thursday's evening commute, a crash in Freeport led to significant traffic delays on Interstate 295 just north of Portland, Maine. According to the WMTW traffic map, there was a lengthy backup on the highway's northbound side, stretching back several miles to Exit 17 in Yarmouth. Photos taken by Emily Pike of Maine's Total Coverage at the scene revealed a car with rear-end damage in the median.
